Our Mission
polyQ is a sex positive, LGBTQ focused, sub group of local polyamory and LGBTQ communities. We aim to provide a social and support network for people that intersect queer communities and non-monogamous relationships on all levels.

Queer Visibility Campaign
The Queer Visibility Campaign is a project that distributes queer, transgender, and polyamory themed swag.  Wearing this swag at larger community events will help visually show the community as a welcoming inclusive space for all sexualities and gender identities.

“Our primary goal is to spread LGBTQ+ education and inclusion in Idaho,” says Heather Franck, an outreach volunteer for the Center who also leads the Campaign. “A common narrative we have heard is that wearing this visibility swag makes conversations about sexuality and gender so much easier. Our community, in general, is now embracing their identities instead of cautiously hiding.”

"Attendees can also join the many groups that fill TCC. Among them is PolyQ, a new collective started by Heather Franck, who moved to Idaho from Utah with her primary partner years ago. Today, Franck serves as an outreach volunteer, and PolyQ connects and supports non-monogamous people like Franck, who identifies as polyamorous."

"I also had other opportunities to share with other attendees, whether it was providing queer 101 explanations to curious but ignorant attendees at queer-focused talks or hearing about the very cool PolyQ project to include queer-focused groups in the wider poly community."
